TO SECURE A DATE FOR AN EVENT:

  • A signed contract and a 50% Non-Refundable Venue Fee must be received by Scarbrough Haven.
  • The smaller event spaces may be rented Monday-Thursday or Friday, Saturday, Sunday upon availability within 90 days of event date.

Insurance Requirements

  • All renters must provide day of insurance
  • All vendors that will come on property must provide a Copy of Insurance and name Scarbrough Haven as an additional insured with a $1,000,000 each general liability and host liquor liability.

The aurora

at Scarbrough Haven

rental rates start at:

Hourly add-on - $500/hr | Security Deposit: $500

  • Saturday: $7000
  • Friday and Sunday: $6250
  • Monday - Thursday: $4000

The rental includes:

12 hours which includes set up and clean up

 

RENTAL SPACES:

Exclusive use of The Aurora at Scarbrough Haven*, A secondary dressing area, and the immediate surrounding 25 acres. (*There are certain times of the year when we may host our own public events on the property. You will still have exclusive use of the Aurora though people may be on other parts of Scarbrough Haven.)

 

OCCUPANCY:

Accommodates up to 200 people seated at tables. To include a dance floor and food stations/buffet tables, 150 is the optimal number of guests.

 

TABLES AND CHAIRS:

We provide set-up and take-down the tables and chairs for one ceremony site and one reception site for up to 150 people. An extra fee will be added for up to 50 additional guests.

 

PARTIAL CLEAN-UP:

Scarbrough Haven will clean floors, put up tables and chairs. Client must comply with after-event obligations (ie. take out trash and remove decorations and personal belongings after event).

 

COMPLIMENTARY USE

of Scarbrough Haven for a 2-hour engagement or bridal photoshoot

The Greenhouse & Chapel can be rented together for $2,000 for an ten-hour period (with two getting ready cottages).
This package is available Monday-Thursday only (or upon availability Friday-Sunday within 90 days of event)

Hourly add-on - $300/hr | Security Deposit: $500

  • Available: Sunday afternoons – Thursday, if renting without the Aurora
  • Available: Any day of the week if renting in conjunction with the Aurora
  • Security: Mandatory for events exceeding 35 people and/or alcohol served.

The rental includes:

Rental space for 3 hours:

includes the Greenhouse and the immediate surrounding 40 acres. Use of the Chapel, Tea Room and/or the Aurora will incur an additional fee.

 

Occupancy:

up to 50 people indoors seated theater style (more can be seated in the lawn area)

 

Tables and Chairs:

Set up/Take down of chairs for up to 50 people

 

Partial Clean Up:

Scarbrough Haven will take care of sweeping/moping of the floors after your event. Client must comply with after-event obligations (ie. take out trash and remove decorations and personal belongings after event).

  • Partially-covered patio spanning the length of the building with unique leaded glass door and side lights.
  • On-site venue attendant
  • On-site parking: Grass/gravel parking is available on site. Walking on uneven surfaces will be required to reach The Tea Room and the adjacent 40 acres.
  • A nearby outdoor prep kitchen includes a large space with a sink and counter space. Our kitchen is NOT designed/authorized for commercial cooking. This area is to be used for plating food to be served to your guests. Caterers should be prepared to bring the appropriate devices to keep food/drinks cold or warm for your event.

The Tea Room* and the immediate surrounding 40 acres. Use of the Chapel, Greenhouse and/or the Aurora will incur an additional fee. (*There are certain times of the year when we may host our own public events on the property. You will still have exclusive use of the Tea Room though people may be on other parts of Scarbrough Haven.)

Includes a large space with a 3-compartment sink, refrigerator, microwave and counter space. Our kitchen is NOT designed/authorized for commercial cooking. This area is to be used for plating food to be served to your guests. Caterers should be prepared to bring heated food in hot boxes to keep it warm for your event. They can also bring equipment to cook outside on our concrete pad.
